Maurizio Sarri told Chelsea FC could sign England international for £30m
Stoke City will accept a £30m bid for England star Jack Butland amid interest from Chelsea FC, according to report ob Dorsett
Stoke City will accept a £30m offer for Chelsea FC target Jack Butland this summer, according to Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett.
The Blues are facing a battle to keep their current number one Thibaut Courtois in the summer transfer window.
The Belgium international has 12 months left to run on his deal with the west London side but is open to a return to Madrid.
Courtois spent three seasons at Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2014 before he return from his loan spell to replace Petr Cech at Chelsea FC.
The Belgian shot stopper has been regularly linked with a move to Real Madrid and los Blancos are thought to be interested in signing a goalkeeper.
Chelsea FC have already missed out on a chance to sign Alisson Becker after his world record move to Liverpool FC from AS Roma.
Sky Sports News reporter Dorsett claimed that a £30m bid would be sufficient to convince Stoke to sell Butland.
“Stoke are expecting Butland to leave,” Dorsett told Transfer Talk podcast.
“When they signed him, they knew they were signing a goalkeeper of great pedigree. If they got £30m for him, they’d wish him well and send him on his way.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a Champions League spot.
The Blues will start the new Premier League campaign with a clash against Huddersfield Town.
