Ligue 1 side want to sign key Chelsea FC star – report
Marseille are interested in a deal to sign Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, according to a report in France

Chelsea FC are braced for interest from Marseille in their World Cup winner Olivier Giroud, according to a report in France.
French media outlet Le 10 Sport, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Marseille are set to reignite their interest in the experienced striker.
The same article states that Marseille are long-term admirers of the former Arsenal striker despite Giroud’s move to Chelsea FC in the January transfer window.
According to the same story, the Ligue 1 side could be left disappointed as Giroud is eager to remain in the English capital.
Giroud could line out against his former employers Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
The Chelsea FC striker was an unused substitute in a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town at John Smith’s Stadium after goals from N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Pedro Rodriguez.
Maurizio Sarri took over the reins from his compatriot Antonio Conte back in July after Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term.
The Italian head coach signed Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, Napoli playmaker Jorginho, veteran England goalkeeper Rob Green and Athletic Bilbao shot stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga in the summer transfer window.
