Chelsea FC are set to make a second offer to sign Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to a report in England.

The Sun is reporting that Chelsea FC are eager to sign the Ivory Coast international to bolster their wing options ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

The same article states that the Blues are willing to use England international Danny Drinkwater in an attempt to sign Zaha to improve their attack.

According to the same story, Chelsea FC have already failed with an offer of £30m plus Drinkwater but the Blues are ready to significantly step up their bid before deadline day next week.

The west London outfit are ready to spend £45m plus £15m in add ons to land the former Manchester United winger after his impressive campaign at Palace under Roy Hodgson, The Sun claim.

Ivory Coast international Zaha impressed with nine goals and made five assists in 29 games in the Premier League last season to earn rave reviews for his performances.

Chelsea FC have appointed Italian head coach Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte’s replacement last month following their fifth-placed finish last term.

The Blues have signed Italy international Jorginho in a £57m deal from Serie A runners up Napoli.
