Chelsea FC star Willian replies when asked about Man United speculation
The Chelsea FC star rules out a move to Manchester United in the summer transfer window
Willian has reiterated that he is happy at Chelsea FC despite the Brazil international being linked with a move to Manchester United.
The South American forward was discontent with life at Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri’s predecessor Antonio Conte after falling out of favour under the former Juventus head coach.
Willian hit out at Conte on social media after the Brazilian forward was left on the bench for their 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
Jose Mourinho brought Willian to the Premier League from Russian club Anzhi Mackhachkala in the 2013 summer transfer window during his second stint at Chelsea FC.
Willian, who was also linked with FC Barcelona, has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his five-season spell at Stamford Bridge so far.
Mourinho is thought to be keen to add a winger to his Manchester United squad to add more creativity and pace to his team ahead of the new Premier League season.
However, Willian has ruled out moving to Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
“I am very happy at Chelsea and I am very happy living in London,” Willian told Globo Esporte.
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term.
The Blues won the FA Cup thanks to a 1-0 win over Manchester United last term.
