Former Liverpool FC striker Owen believes the Reds will leave Leicester with three points but warned Jurgen Klopp’s players to expect a difficult match.
“Leicester will provide a severe test of Liverpool’s title credentials, but it is an examination I believe they will pass in what promises to be an open, entertaining clash,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Harry Maguire got a late winner at St Mary’s last weekend, but the England international and the rest of the Foxes defence will have their work cut out to cope with the pace and power of the Reds front three.”
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title in their decorated history but the Reds have finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
Klopp has led Liverpool FC to successive top-four finishes in the past two seasons to make significant progress at the Merseyside outfit.
