Martin Keown has warned Alisson Becker that he will need to add variety to his tricks if the Liverpool FC signing doesn’t want to be embarrassed.

Liverpool FC signing the Brazil international in a £67m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2018 summer transfer window.

The Reds momentarily made Alisson the most expensive goalkeeper in the world as Jurgen Klopp finally addressed a clear weakness in his starting line up.

The 25-year-old has made a promising start to his Anfield career following three successive clean sheets and victories in the Premier League.

Alisson even produced one of the moments of the Premier League season so far last weekend when he audaciously chipped the ball over an opponent before passing the ball to a team-mate.

While Keown is an admirer of Alisson’s quality with the ball at his feet, the Arsenal legend had a word of warning for the new Liverpool FC one.

“He just needs to make sure that he does not overdo it,” Keown told the Daily Mail.

“Against Brighton, he would feint to release the ball and take another touch and if he does not mix things up he will be caught out.”

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.

The Reds haven’t won the Premier League but have finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.

Liverpool FC signied Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer transfer window.
