Chris Sutton believes Liverpool FC are facing their best chance to win the Premier League title.

The 18-time English champions have been very busy in the summer transfer window as Jurgen Klopp worked on improving his squad.

The Reds brought in Brazil international Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco to improve his squad.

Liverpool FC recruited African midfielder Naby Keita in a £48m switch from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

Klopp added more attacking flair to his team with the addition of Xherdan Shaqiri in a cut price £13.5m deal from relegated Stoke City.

The German head coach spent a world record fee on a goalkeeper after Alisson Becker moved to Liverpool FC in a £67m from AS Roma.

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and a staggering 30 points adrift of champions Manchester City.

However, the Reds beat the Citizens over two legs in the Champions League quarter-finals thanks to a 5-2 win.

The Reds started the Premier League campaign with a 4-0 win over West Ham at Anfield on Sunday.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live about Liverpool FC’s title prospects next season, Sutton said:

“This is Liverpool’s best chance to push Man City. This could be their best chance ever to win the Premier League.”

Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot in the Premier League table last term to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
