Guinean Keita joined in a £54m deal from RB Leipzig to add industry in midfield, whilst Fabinho and Shaqiri, who cost £40m and £13.2m respectively, will provide competition for places.
Klopp’s side will need to add consistency to complement their energetic brand of football if they want to compete at the top of the league, and their recruitment this summer has many people, Neville included, thinking they will do just that.
