Gary Lineker praises Trent Alexander-Arnold for his fine display for Liverpool FC on Saturday
Gary Lineker took to social media to lavish praise on Trent Alexander-Arnold after Liverpool FC claimed a 1-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday.
Mohamed Salah ended up scoring the only goal of the game for the Merseyside outfit as Jurgen Klopp’s men took the three points to continue their 100 per cent start to the new season.
The win lifted Liverpool FC up to the top of the Premier League table as they bid to try and mount a genuine title challenge this season under Klopp.
Alexander-Arnold has been impressing in a Liverpool FC shirt recently and has started all three of the Reds’ Premier League games so far this season.
And Lineker was clearly impressed by the 19-year-old’s performance on Saturday as he took to social media during the game to salute the teenager for his confident display.
Lineker posted the following update on his personal Twitter account: “Did many of you spot that volleyed pass from @trentaa98? Good heavens this young man is wonderfully talented. 👏👏👏”
Liverpool FC will aim to make it four wins in a row in the Premier League when they take on Leicester City at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
Klopp is aiming to steer the Reds to their first trophy since his appointment at Anfield back in 2015.
