Martin Keown believes that Liverpool FC are set to win the Premier League title this season, with Manchester United ending up in fourth place.

Liverpool FC will be hoping to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season as Jurgen Klopp looks to try and steer the Merseyside outfit to their first trophy since his appointment at the club back in 2015.

The Reds were in good form last term but they ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy after they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final back in May.

Manchester United will also be aiming to be one of the main contenders for the title this season, with Jose Mourinho under pressure to deliver some silverware after the Red Devils ended up second and without a trophy last term.

Manchester City are the clear favourites to retain their title after their incredible form in the Premier League last term.

However, former Arsenal star Keown seems to think that Liverpool FC are poised to come up on top, with Manchester United set to scrape a top-four finish.

Asked to pick his top four for the new season, Keown told the Daily Mail: “I’m going to put my neck on the line and say Liverpool to win it, followed by City, Spurs and United.”
