Xherdan Shaqiri is convinced that Liverpool FC have what it takes to win the Premier League title this season.

The Reds will be aiming to mount a serious title challenge this term after they finished in fourth place in the table last season under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool FC also reached the Champions League final last season as they ended up losing 3-1 to Real Madrid in the showpiece back in May.

The Merseyside outfit are still aiming to try and win their first trophy under Klopp since his appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ successor back in October 2015.

And new signing Shaqiri seems to be sure that the Reds will be able to challenge for trophies on all fronts this season under Klopp.

Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Klopp said: “For me, nothing is impossible. We can be everything we want to be. We beat Manchester City in the league and the Champions League last season so I think we can beat anyone in the world.

“It has to be our ambition to compete with the best and to go on the field against whoever we play trying to win the game and dominate the game.

“Our aim is to win as many titles as possible. That is the goal of the club now and we are looking forward to the season.”

Liverpool FC signed four players in the summer transfer window after having completed deals for Shaqiri, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Alisson Becker.

The Reds will be aiming to run Manchester City as close as possible for the Premier League this term after the Citizens ran away with the title under Pep Guardiola last season.
