Shaka Hislop believes Jose Mourinho will last the entire season at Manchester United.

The Portuguese head coach has been in a foul mood in pre season to raise questions about his future at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has stated his unhappiness at the lack of arrivals at Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United have signed Shakhtar Donetsk star Fred, FC Porto defender Diogo Dalot and Stoke goalkeeper Lee Grant this summer.

However, the Red Devils have failed to strengthen key areas such as the right wing and left back to leave Mourinho frustrated.

Mourinho led Manchester United to their best finish since the Sir Alex Ferguson era last term but ended the season without a trophy.

Asked whether Mourinho would still be at Old Trafford at the end of the 2018-19 Premier League season, Hislop told ESPN FC:

“He will see out the season. It is too expensive to get rid of him. Right now, there isn’t a ready made replacement for Mourinho.”

Manchester United lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley last term following Eden Hazard’s winner from the penalty spot.

The Red Devils won the Europa League and the League Cup in Mourinho’s first season in charge at Old Trafford.
