Fred sets out ambitious targets at Man United
Fred is determined to try and help Man United be one of the top contenders for the Premier League this season

Fred is determined to help Manchester United challenge for the top trophies following his move to the club this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder is currently getting used to life at Old Trafford after having signed for the Red Devils from Shakhtar Donetsk back in June.
The 25-year-old has started all three of Manchester United’s Premier League games this season but was unable to prevent the Red Devils from slipping to a disappointing 3-0 defeat by Tottenham Hotspur in the top flight on Monday night.
The Red Devils have now lost their last two games in the Premier League to leave Jose Mourinho’s men six points off the pace in the race for the title.
Manchester United are aiming to try and win the title for the first time since 2013 this season, and Fred is determined to try and help the Red Devils be serious contenders.
Speaking in an interview with the Manchester United matchday programme, Fred said: “I’ve got lots of objectives in the short term, the league, the Champions League and the domestic cups.
“I want to win these competitions and in the long term I want to win lots of trophies and I want to gain recognition from the fans and I’d love to leave a mark here and I’d love to leave a legacy at Manchester United.”
Manchester United ended up without a trophy last season as they finished in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term.
The Red Devils last won the Premier League back in 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson was still in charge.
