Man United told to replace Jose Mourinho with Zinedine Zidane
Lee Sharpe is tipping Zinedine Zidane to be the ideal candidate to take over from Jose Mourinho at Man United

Lee Sharpe believes that Zinedine Zidane would be the “ideal” candidate to take over from Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The Portuguese coach’s situation at Old Trafford has been a constant source of speculation in recent weeks after a low-key summer transfer window.
The Red Devils slumped to their first Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday when they lost 3-2 to Brighton and Hove Albion to damage their title hopes.
It remains to be seen whether Mourinho will remain at Old Trafford and continue trying to lead the Red Devils to Premier League glory this season.
Zidane has been touted as a potential candidate to take over from Mourinho should the Portuguese coach leave Old Trafford.
The France legend is currently out of work after he opted to leave Real Madrid at the end of last season.
And Sharpe feels that the ex-Real Madrid boss would be the perfect man to take over at Old Trafford if Mourinho does indeed leave the club.
“I think Zidane would be the ideal candidate,” Sharpe told talkSPORT.
“He’s played at the highest level, managed at the highest level and has been successful at both.
“He’s a big enough name who could cope with the pressure and the questions asked of managing a club of that size so I think he would be ideal.”
Mourinho has been tasked with steering Manchester United to a title challenge this season after the Red Devils finished second and without a trophy last term.
