The French midfielder was widely criticised for failing to produce consistent performances for the Red Devils last term as they ended up in second place in the Premier League and without a trophy last term.
However, Pogba earned plenty of praise for his performances for France at this summer’s World Cup as he helped his national team to win the title in Russia.
The midfielder is now preparing for his third season under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford as he looks to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s top midfielders.
Pogba will be aiming to be one of the driving forces behind a Manchester United title challenge next season.
And former Manchester United defender Brown is convinced that Pogba will be able to hit top form for the Red Devils under Mourinho next term.
Speaking in an interview with 888sport, Brown said: “Pogba came back to United with this great expectation, that he had to show the world how good he is straight away.
“A lot of pressure comes with that. With that out of the way he’s coming good though we all know he can do even better.
“This season, especially after the World Cup that he’s had, he’s going to start expressing himself a lot more.”
Manchester United have only signed Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant so far this summer as they prepare for Mourinho’s third campaign in charge of the club.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
