Paul Pogba has already selected his shirt number at FC Barcelona ahead of his move from Manchester United, according to a report in Italy.

Italian media outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Pogba is keen to fill the void left by Andres Iniesta in the FC Barcelona team.

The same article states that FC Barcelona want to sign Pogba to strengthen their options in the middle of the park ahead of the imminent arrival of Arturo Vidal.

According the same story, Pogba is excited about the prospect of moving to Spanish giants FC Barcelona in the current transfer window following a difficult spell at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been contending with speculation linking the France international with a move to FC Barcelona’s bitter rivals Real Madrid.

Pogba has struggled to find his best form in the Manchester United team since his return to Old Trafford from Serie A giants Juventus.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been critical of Pogba’s performance in the British media over the past 12 months.

The 25-year-old has been unable to replicate his Juventus form in a Manchester United shirt despite moving in a club record deal.
