Danny Murphy doesn’t believe it is inevitable that Chelsea FC star Eden Hazard will end up at Real Madrid.

The Chelsea FC talisman appeared to be facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge following the uncertainty surrounding the managerial situation following a difficult season.

Indeed, La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid were heavily linked with a potential swoop to sign the former PFA player of the year winner in the summer transfer window.

Hazard has made no secret of his desire to play for Real Madrid given the Chelsea FC star is a boyhood los Blancos fan, although his icon Zinedine Zidane has stood down as manager.

Maurizio Sarri’s appointment appears to have bought Chelsea FC some time to work on keeping Hazard at the FA Cup holders in the long term.

Hazard has around 24 months left to run on his current deal with Chelsea FC to raise questions about his future.

Former Liverpool FC star Murphy has addressed continued speculation linking Hazard with a move to Real Madrid.

“I don’t think it’s inevitable that Hazard will end up at Real Madrid,” Murphy told bWIN.

“I think he’s very comfortable in London and he has handled the situation very professionally this summer. Hazard always speaks highly of Chelsea and I think he has the potential to get even better, to score more goals and to provide more assists.

“He is Chelsea’s world-class player in an attacking sense and the club will need him firing if they’re to get back into the top four this season.”

Hazard came off the bench to inspire Chelsea FC to a 3-2 victory over bitter rivals Arsenal in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
