Alvaro Morata took to social media to reveal his delight at helping Chelsea FC claim a dramatic 2-1 win over Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Spanish striker started the game and featured for 65 minutes as the Blues continued their 100 per cent start to the new campaign under their new manager.

Maurizio Sarri was brought in as the club’s new manager last month after the sacking of Antonio Conte, and the west London side have won all three of their games to leave them level on points with early Premier League leaders Liverpool FC.

Morata, 25, will be hoping to hold down a regular spot in the team this season, with the Spaniard having started all three of Chelsea FC’s games but only having scored one goal so far.

The striker was linked with a move away from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window but he now seems to be firmly part of Sarri’s plans at the west London club.

And Morata used his personal Instagram account to celebrate helping Chelsea FC claim all three points this weekend.

Morata posted the picture above on the social network and wrote the caption: “Great work and effort of all the team! Three more points!! Go Chelsea!!”

Chelsea FC will take on Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge next weekend.
