Eden Hazard scored a hat-trick for the west London side as Maurizio Sarri’s men maintained their 100 per cent start to the season and moved up to the top of the Premier League table.
Morata was an unused substitute on Saturday as Sarri preferred to start with Olivier Giroud up front for the west London side.
The Spanish striker will be hoping to force his way back into the Chelsea FC team this season as he looks to impress Sarri at Stamford Bridge.
However, Morata still seemed to be pleased with what he saw from his team-mates as the Blues wrapped up the three points against Cardiff.
Morata posted the picture above on social media after the game and wrote the caption: “Good job team!!”
Chelsea FC are aiming to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season after the Blues finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last term.
The west London side will begin their Europa League group stage campaign on Thursday night when they take on PAOK.
