Aaron Ramsey opens up on Arsenal life under Unai Emery
Aaron Ramsey gave his verdict on Arsenal's progress so far under new boss Unai Emery
Arsenal FC midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes that the team will continue to improve under new manager Unai Emery.
Arsenal FC secured their second consecutive win of the new Premier League season on Sunday against Cardiff, winning 3-2 away from home against the newly promoted side.
Goals from Shkodran Mustafi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexander Lacazette ensured that Unai Emery’s men head into the international break on 6 points in the table, level with arch-rivals Manchester United.
Arsenal FC lost their opening two games of the season against champions Manchester City and Chelsea FC, but it appears that Emery’s men are now on the up following another good result and attacking performance.
Ramsey played his part in the victory at the weekend and he insists that the team will only improve under the stewardship of their new coach.
“We know it is a process and every game we improve that little bit and get stronger and stronger. Hopefully can come back from International break and really kick on.” Ramsey told Sky Sports.
The international break will give the players a well-earned rest after a tough early schedule in the league, with the general consensus on Arsenal FC so far being that they are looking strong going forward, but perhaps have to address some issues defensively.
Emery will be hopeful that the team can build on their recent upturn in form with a win against Newcastle United in their next game at St James’ Park on September 15th.
