The Gunners have won their last four games in the Premier League to bounce back from a difficult start to the 2018-19 season.
Arsenal lost to defending Premier League champions Manchester City and FA Cup winners Chelsea FC in their opening two games.
The north London side have since beaten West Ham, Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Everton to hoist themselves up to sixth place in the Premier League table.
Unai Emery’s men have the chance to hoist themselves above fourth-placed Watford if the Gunners can beat the Hornets at The Emirates.
Watford have also won four games in the Premier League in the current game as well as a 1-1 stalemate with promoted side Fulham.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen believes Arsenal will make it five consecutive victories under Emery against Watford this weekend.
“Arsenal have won their last four PL games, but they continue to look fragile defensively and rode their luck at home to Everton last weekend,” Owen told BetVictor.
“That said the Gunners have failed to score in just two of their last 36 home league games and both of those blanks were drawn against Manchester City.
“Watford are likely to have their opportunities at the Emirates, but I expect the Gunners to make it five wins on the spin.”
Arsenal finished in sixth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a Champions League place in successive seasons.
The Gunners have won the FA Cup three times in the past five seasons but haven’t won the Premier League crown since 2003-04.
