David Luiz fires Premier League title warning at his Chelsea FC team-mates
David Luiz warns Chelsea FC not to get carried away by their strong start to the new Premier League season

David Luiz has warned his Chelsea FC team-mates against getting carried away by their strong start to the new Premier League season.
The Blues have been in solid form so far this term and they have won all five of their opening Premier League games to leave them leading the way at the top of the table.
Eden Hazard scored a hat-trick as the west London side claimed a thumping 4-1 win over Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge at the weekend to maintain their 100 per cent start to the new campaign.
The west London side have been settling well into life under new manager Maurizio Sarri after he was brought in as the club’s new manager back in July following the sacking of Antonio Conte.
And despite Chelsea FC’s early-season form suggesting that they will be one of the main contenders for the title this season, David Luiz has warned his team-mates that it is far to early to draw any conclusions from the table.
Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website, David Luiz said: “In the Premier League you have to think game by game.
“Chelsea is a big club which will always fight for titles. It doesn’t matter the name of the competition.
“This year it’s a great opportunity for us if we continue in this way, but it’s too early. We have to keep our feet on the ground and work every day.”
Chelsea FC will kick off their Europa League campaign on Thursday night when they take on PAOK away from home.
They finished fifth and won the FA Cup under Conte last term.
