Eden Hazard sends message to Chelsea FC fans about life under Maurizio Sarri
The Chelsea FC star is enjoying life under new Blues manager Maurizio Sarri
Eden Hazard admits he is enjoying life under new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Belgium international has scored five times in six games in the Premier League so far this season.
The Blues forward has hit the ground running despite a taxing World Cup campaign with Belgium in the summer.
Hazard scored his second-ever Chelsea FC hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge earlier this month.
Chelsea FC’s perfect start to the Premier League season came to an end following a goalless draw with West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
The west London outfit are in third place in the Premier League table and two points adrift of leaders Liverpool FC.
Asked whether he was enjoying life under Sarri, Hazard told Sky Sports: “Of course.
“We try to keep the ball. When you are an offensive player you just want to keep the ball.
“We create a lot of passes and chances. Yesterday we had a bit of trouble [against West Ham] but I think the beginning of the season was great.
“He is a great manager, but it’s easy to say when you are winning games. We will see in a bad moment. For sure he is a great manager, and he showed that to the world.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a place in the Champions League.
The Blues won the FA Cup in Antonio Conte’s final season in charge thanks to a 1-0 victory over Manchester United.
The west London side have beaten Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Bournemouth in the Premier League this season.
Sarri’s side will welcome Liverpool FC to Stamford Bridge in their next Premier League fixture.
