The Belgian star has been in electrifying form at the start of the new Premier League season after scoring five goals in the club’s opening six matches.
The Belgian winger has seemingly relished his new role in the team under Maurizio Sarri’s stewardship and has impressed with his incredible dribbling skills and decisiveness in the final third.
Chelsea FC’s 0-0 draw with West Ham at the Olympic Stadium dampened the mood at the west London club on Sunday.
But Maurizio Sarri’s men will have an opportunity to turn things around quickly with a doubleheader against league leaders Liverpool FC this week.
Former Liverpool FC striker Bellamy insists that while Hazard is undoubtedly a great player, his lack of loyalty should be a concern for Chelsea going forward.
Bellamy told Sky Sports: “He picks and chooses. If I was Barcelona or Real Madrid of course I’d want him but I’d be concerned about his dips in performances.
“Once he’s had enough of a manager, he isn’t sure whether he will turn it on.”
Sarri’s men will travel to Anfield for a third round Carabao Cup tie on Wednesday, before hosting their rivals at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
Chelsea supporters will be hoping that their team can come through both games unscathed in their pursuit of silverware, but Liverpool will surely provide their most difficult challenge so far this term.
Hazard must continue to prove his worth as one of the best players in England if Chelsea are to overcome Jurgen Klopp’s table toppers and get their title challenge back on track.
