The Blues signed the Italy international in a £57m deal from Serie A giants Napoli in the 2018 summer transfer window.
Jorginho arrived at Stamford Bridge with a battle on his hands to secure a first-team spot given the depth of options in the middle of the park.
However, Sarri, who took over the reins from Antonio Conte in the summer, started Jorginho in a holding role in the Chelsea FC team.
Jorginho scored on his debut from the penalty spot in a 3-0 victory over Huddersfield Town in their Premier League opener last month.
The 26-year-old has impressed with his performances as Chelsea FC notched up five successive victories to sit at the top of the table.
Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher believes Jorginho is a leader for Sarri in the middle of the park.
“He is already ordering players around,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “He is Sarri’s man, he is the coach on the pitch.”
Chelsea FC were 4-1 winners against promoted side Cardiff City in the Premier League last weekend to move ahead of Liverpool FC at the top of the table on goal difference.
The Blues finished in fifth place in the Premier League table after the west London side missed out on a spot in the Champions League.
