The Blues have enjoyed success with both Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte over the past five seasons.
Mourinho led Chelsea FC to the 2014-15 Premier League title and the League Cup before the Portuguese head coach was sacked in December 2015.
His permanent replacement Antonio Conte adopted a similar style of play, although the Italian coach switched Chelsea’s formation to a three-man defence.
Conte led the Blues to the 2016-17 Premier League title before the former Juventus boss signed off with success in the FA Cup back in May.
Sarri’s new-look Chelsea FC team are sitting at the top of the Premier League table following five successive victories.
Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher believes Sarri has overseen a big change of style at Stamford Bridge since his appointment.
The big difference with Chelsea is the pressing high from the front,” Carragher told Sky Sports. “Under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte they won Premier Leagues but sat off teams, which is not a problem, they were successful at it, but this is different.”
Chelsea FC finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a Champions League spot for the second time in three seasons.
The Blues will take on Greek side PAOK in their Europa League opener on Thursday night as Sarri looks to lead the west London side to European glory.
