Chris Sutton admits he has been impressed with Chelsea FC’s star to the season under Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues turned to the former Napoli manager after Antonio Conte parted company with the FA Cup holders in the summer.

Sarri has already stamped his mark on the Chelsea FC team following the west London side’s impressive start to the new season.

Chelsea FC won their opening five Premier League games thanks to victories over Huddersfield Town, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Cardiff City.

The Blues saw their winning run come to an end last weekend following a goalless draw with West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Former Chelsea FC striker Sutton is impressed with Sarri’s impact in the opening two months of the Premier League campaign.

“He is trying to play a different style of football,” Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live. “It is very exciting. It is a really good start.”

Chelsea FC finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last term to miss out on a Champions League spot.

The Blues won the FA Cup crown in their final season under Conte’s management thanks to a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Wembley.

The west London side will welcome Premier League leaders Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Chelsea FC were 3-2 winners against Arsenal in their opening fixture at home this term.
