England star Sturridge, who moved to Liverpool FC from Chelsea FC in a £12m deal in 2013, is optimistic that the Reds can bounce back from their Carabao Cup exit.
Sturridge wrote on Twitter: “Bittersweet. Tomorrow we go again. Big tings a gwan!! Let’s go!!”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot in successive seasons under Jurgen Klopp but the German head coach still hasn’t won a trophy since taking over the reins from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015.
The Merseyside outfit have beaten West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Leicester City, Spurs and Southampton in the current campaign.
