The Blues have made a perfect start to the new campaign and have won all five of their first five Premier League games under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
Eden Hazard struck a hat-trick as Chelsea FC claimed an impressive 4-1 win over Cardiff City at Stamford Bridge in the top flight on Saturday afternoon.
That win lifted Chelsea FC to the top of the Premier League table on goal difference as they look to try and enjoy a solid campaign under new boss Sarri.
Chelsea FC are looking to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season after they finished in fifth place in the table and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last term.
And although Begovic admits that winning the title will be a tough ask, he does feel that his former club will be one of the main challengers for the top-flight trophy this term.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Begovic said: “Very impressive.
“We went to the Bridge and obviously had a real tough game. I think we gave it a good go but ultimately it wasn’t meant to be.
“I think they’re a top side, top players, great depth in the squad now.
“Their possession style now is impressive, they just keep the ball and are very, very patient.
“It was very difficult for us but I think they will be right up there.”
Chelsea FC will return to Europa League action on Thursday afternoon when they take on PAOK away from home.
