Danny Mills lavished praise on Eden Hazard after the Belgian helped to fire Chelsea FC to a 2-0 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Belgian playmaker was in fine form against the Cherries and he netted the Blues’ second goal with a powerful finish at Stamford Bridge to wrap up the three points for the west London side and maintain their 100 per cent start to the new season.

Chelsea FC took the lead in the 72nd minute in west London thanks to Pedro Rodriguez’s finish to put the Blues ahead.

Hazard has been in good form for Maurizio Sarri’s side so far this season despite him being one of the latest players to return to Chelsea FC following his involvement in the World Cup with Belgium.

And former defender Mills feels that Hazard deserved his goal for his brilliant all-round display against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Mills said: “An absolutely magnificent finish from Eden Hazard.

“He deserves that from the way he has been playing in this game.

“It’s power that beats Begovic.”

Chelsea FC will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season as they bid to try and enjoy a successful debut campaign under new boss Sarri.

The west London side finished in fifth place in the table and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last term.
