The Belgian playmaker has been earning lots of praise for his strong performances for the west London side so far this season after having start the new campaign brilliantly under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
Hazard has netted six goals and made two assists in all competitions so far this season – and he netted a brilliant solo goal to help Chelsea FC reach the fourth round of the League Cup on Wednesday night against Liverpool FC at Anfield.
The 27-year-old’s future was a source of speculation in the summer and Hazard was linked with a move to Real Madrid.
However, he ended up staying at the west London club after they appointed Sarri as Antonio Conte’s successor back in July.
And Fabregas believes that Hazard is certainly hitting top form for the Blues this season.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Fabregas said: “I have had some great moments with Eden on the pitch but maybe in terms of maturity, yes it is the best [form of his career].
“He has always had the ability but he is at an age now where he feels he can be more dangerous. He knows when to pass more, when to dribble.
“His maturity has improved a lot and now he is scoring goals, decisive goals which we all wanted from him.
“When you see the top players, this is what they do. They make a difference in terms of scoring goals.
“I think he needed that to make the step forward and at the moment he is doing that so hopefully he can keep it up.”
Hazard and Fabregas will be both be hoping to start for Chelsea FC when the Blues take on Liverpool FC in front of their home fans at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
