Eden Hazard believes that Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho have played key roles in helping Chelsea FC to up their game this season.

The pair have been getting used to life at Stamford Bridge this term after arriving at the west London club as two of Maurizio Sarri’s first signings.

They have both been impressing for the Blues as Sarri looks to try and guide Chelsea FC to a Premier League title challenge this season.

Chelsea FC have made a strong start to the new campaign but they dropped their first Premier League points of the season on Sunday when they were held to a goalless draw by West Ham United at the London Stadium.

The west London side are now two points behind leaders Liverpool FC as they prepare to welcome the Reds to Stamford Bridge in their next league game on Saturday evening.

And Hazard, who has been in fine form so far this term, feels that the likes of Kovacic and Jorginho have helped to significantly strengthen the Blues’ side.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Hazard said: “I think this kind of manager is good when you like football.

“We try to keep the ball, we try to find solutions.

“We have good players and we’ve brought in new players like Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic – players where you need movement.”

Chelsea FC are preparing to travel to Liverpool FC in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday night.
