Cesc Fabregas could end up leaving Chelsea FC on a free transfer at the end of the season, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Spanish playmaker could be on his way out of the west London club when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
The same report says that both Inter Milan and AC Milan are expressing an interest in signing Fabregas, and that the Italian clubs could reach an agreement in the January transfer window as the midfielder is free to speak to foreign clubs from December.
Fabregas is yet to feature under new Chelsea FC boss Maurizio Sarri in the Premier League due to injury but he is believed to be closing in on a return to full fitness.
The 31-year-old has been training at Chelsea FC’s Cobham base in recent days as the Blues prepare for their Premier League clash against Cardiff City on Saturday.
Chelsea FC are aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season as they aim to bounce back from their disappointing fifth-placed finish last term.
The west London club have won all four of their Premier League games this term to leave them joint top of the table.
