The Belgian playmaker is widely considered to be one of European football’s top attacking talents and he has been in top form for Chelsea FC so far this season.
The 27-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge has been something of a source of speculation recently and he was linked with a move away from the west London club in the summer transfer window.
However, Hazard ended up staying at Chelsea FC and he has helped Maurizio Sarri’s men make a flying start to the new season and win all four of their opening four Premier League games.
The Belgian attacker has already won two Premier League titles with Chelsea FC since his move to the club from Lille back in 2012.
And Chelsea FC defender Rudiger seems to think that Hazard is second only to Messi in the world in terms of ability.
Speaking in an interview with the Daily Mail, Rudiger said: “Mbappe is unbelievably fast, really good. To stop him, you have to do it as a team, because alone … good luck!
“But for me, the best in the world is Messi, then Hazard.”
Both Hazard and Rudiger will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against Cardiff on Saturday.
