The Brazil-born Italy international is getting used to life as a Chelsea FC player after having signed for the Blues from Napoli in the summer transfer window following Maurizio Sarri’s appointment as the club’s new manager.
Jorginho has been deployed in Chelsea FC’s midfielder alongside Kante in the opening weeks of the season and the midfielder has been earning lots of praise for his solid performances.
And Kante has been impressed by what he has seen from Jorginho as the midfielder continues to adapt to life in the Premier League with the Blues.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Kante said: “It’s a new system, 4-3-3, and we need to use Jorginho a lot.
“I think he is a good player with the ability to make the play in behind and find the players in front. At the moment it’s working very well and we hope to keep going in this way.
“I think he’s very talented. When you give him the ball he’s able to keep calm and find good passes. He also understands the way the manager wants us to play so to have him is a big advantage.”
Sarri has been tasked with steering Chelsea FC back into the top four this season after the Blues finished in fifth place in the table and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last term.
The west London side have won the Premier League title in two of the last four seasons, and they will be hoping to challenge for the trophy once again this term.
Chelsea FC kick off their Europa League campaign with a trip to PAOK on Thursday night in the group stage.
