The Belgian playmaker has been in superb form this season for Maurizio Sarri’s men despite returning to the west London club late in the summer following his involvement in the World Cup.
Hazard scored five goals and made two assists in his first five games in the Premier League before Sunday’s trip to West Ham United, and the 27-year-old has been earning lots of praise for his solid performances.
The upturn in form from Hazard has come after a summer of uncertainty for the Belgian playmaker, who was linked with a move to Real Madrid during the transfer window.
However, Kovacic has insisted that he has been nothing but impressed by Hazard since his move on loan from Real Madrid in the summer.
Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website, Kovacic said: “For me he has everything, but the thing that has impressed me the most is that they tackle him so much and he is always on his feet.
“England is a really tough league, the toughest in the world for me, and he just plays with the defenders.
“He’s an incredible player but also a nice team-mate, a nice guy, and I have really enjoyed the time playing with him.”
Chelsea FC will take on Liverpool FC in the third round of the League Cup at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Blues will then host Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League pace-setters at Stamford Bridge on Saturday next weekend as they look to try and deliver a blow to one of their title rivals’ hopes.
