Antonio Rudiger looked to be in good shape as he battled for possession with Danny Drinkwater in Chelsea FC training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Cardiff City.

The Blues are currently preparing to welcome the Welsh side to Stamford Bridge this weekend as they look to try and continue their strong start to the new season.

Chelsea FC have won all four of their opening games under new manager Maurizio Sarri and they have been in impressive form since the Italian took over from Antonio Conte back in July.

The west London side will now be looking to make it five wins on the spin in the top flight when the Premier League returns this weekend.

Drinkwater is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League for Chelsea FC this season, although the midfielder did feature for the final 30 minutes of the Blues’ Community Shield defeat by Manchester City back in August.

However, he looked to be in a competitive mood as he and Rudiger battled for possession ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Rudiger shared the picture above on Instagram and wrote: “After the international break back to work at Cobham 👊🏾⚽ #Focus #Hustle #AlwaysBelieve #CFC @ChelseaFC.”

Chelsea FC are looking to at least break back into the top four this season after they finished in fifth place in the table last term under Conte and won the FA Cup.
