The Portuguese has yet to feature for José Mourinho’s men after he arrived at the club from FC Porto with a knee injury.
However, his tweet suggests he is training to be ready for the trip to Vicarage Road in Saturday’s late kick-off.
He tweeted: “Have a good week everybody. Getting ready for Saturday. @ManUtd.”
Dalot joined United in the summer for a reported £19.8m from Porto, where he came through their fabled academy.
He had only played eight senior games for Porto’s first-team but had appeared multiple times for both Porto’s ‘B’ team as well as multiple appearances at youth level for Portugal.
The right-back only made his debut in senior professional football in February, but his performances impressed enough for Mourinho to warrant spending the best part of £20m on him.
After a summer of failed attempts to bring in fresh blood in United’s defence, the right-back was the only defensive player that Mourinho was able to recruit.
At just 19 years old, it would come as a surprise to many if Dalot was the solution to United’s defensive concerns, but the player himself will be pleased if he finally has got himself into the first-team squad.
United are stretched in the full-back region, after it was confirmed Luke Shaw would miss at least two games after the concussion he suffered in England’s 2-1 defeat to Spain in the UEFA Nations League opener.
Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian are both fit and one of the two will most likely start at right-back, however, Dalot could get some minutes if José Mourinho is willing to risk his new man at the home of a side who has won all their games so far this season.
