Eden Hazard has said that winning trophies is his main target with Chelsea FC this season.

The Belgian playmaker has been in superb form so far this term and he has been earning lots of praise for his strong performances for the west London side this term.

Hazard was heavily linked with a possible transfer to Real Madrid in the summer window but a move failed to materialise as he ended up staying at Stamford Bridge.,

The 27-year-old will now be hoping to help Maurizio Sarri’s side to enjoy a successful first season under their new manager.

The playmaker looks like he is hitting top form for the west London side as the Blues look to challenge for major honours this season.

And Hazard says that the most important thing for him this season is to win trophies with the Blues.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports News, Hazard said: “My target is to win something every year, I want to win trophies.

“We won the FA Cup last year. We knew the Premier League is going to be hard because (Manchester) City, Liverpool, they have a lot of good players and good teams. So we will give everything.

“It is not important how many goals I score. You know me, I don’t care about that. I just want to enjoy my football and win games.”

Chelsea FC will now turn their attentions back towards Europa League affairs and their home clash against Videoton at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.

The Blues finished in fifth place in the Premier League table and won the FA Cup under Antonio Conte last term before he was sacked and replaced by Sarri back in July.
