FC Barcelona are monitoring Paul Pogba’s situation at Manchester United and could make a move to sign the midfielder in January, according to reports in the British media.

The Independent is reporting that the La Liga giants are keeping a close eye on Pogba’s situation at Old Trafford, which continues to be a source of speculation.

Pogba and his relationship with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been a constant source of speculation in recent days and they were pictured having a frosty exchange in Manchester United training on Wednesday.

It has all promoted fresh speculation about Pogba’s future, and FC Barcelona are said to be keeping a close eye on developments.

The same story says that FC Barcelona have held an interest in signing Pogba for some time, and they have reportedly been in regular contact with the midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola.

The article also claims that Manchester United would consider selling Pogba if a “good bid” came in, and the same article mentions a figure of £140m.

Meanwhile, Pogba will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils return to Premier League action on Saturday with a trip to West Ham United.

The Red Devils are currently eight points off leaders Liverpool FC after just six games of the new campaign.
