Former Spurs forward Lineker took to Twitter to praise Pogba for his opening goal in Manchester United’s comfortable win in Switzerland.
Lineker wrote on Twitter: “A pearler from Pogba puts @ManUtd ahead.”
Manchester United are looking to win the Champions League for the first time since 2008 when the Red Devils beat Chelsea FC on penalties in Moscow.
The 20-time English champions lost to FC Barcelona in the Champions League showpiece in 2009 and 2011.
The Red Devils are in eighth place in the Premier League table following a 2-1 win at Watford last weekend.
