Alisson Becker names the areas Liverpool FC must improve quickly
Alisson Becker says Liverpool FC still have plenty of room for improvement this season
Alisson Becker believes that Liverpool FC still have plenty of work to do as they try to step their game up this season.
The Brazilian goalkeeper is currently getting used to life at Anfield after having signed for the Reds from AS Roma in the summer transfer window.
The shot-stopper looks to be adapting well to life at the Merseyside outfit and has drawn praise for his solid displays in a red shirt so far in the Premier League.
Liverpool FC have made a solid start to the new Premier League season, as the Reds attempt to try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders in the top flight.
The Merseyside outfit finished in fourth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term, so Liverpool FC will be aiming to be one of the main challengers for the title this time around.
However, despite their solid start, Alisson is well aware that the Reds still have a lot of work to do as they try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders.
Speaking in an interview with Premier League productions before Liverpool FC’s trip to Leicester on Saturday, Alisson said: “Quite often, wins hide faults. You can say: ‘We won 1-0, it was perfect, we kept a clean sheet.’ But that might hide some things going on.
“For example, we need to improve our passing, make less mistakes, work on continuity, make less errors in the area of passing, positioning could improve, we need to concentrate one hundred per cent for the full game. That’s something we can do, to really succeed in this competition.”
