The west London side have made an exciting start to the Premier League season following five victories and one stalemate to secure third spot in the table.
Sarri’s men won their opening five Premier League fixtures before West Ham United held the Blues to a goalless draw at the London Stadium last weekend.
Chelsea FC will make the long trip to Liverpool FC in the League Cup third round mid-week before the Reds travel to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
Sarri has been consistent in his team selection so far to deprive promising youngsters such as Ruben Loftus-Cheek a chance to impress Antonio Conte’s replacement.
Former Chelsea FC winger Nevin is tipping Sarri to make wholesale changes for the League Cup clash on Wednesday night.
“The team has now entered the tunnel that is the mid-season with all the games in quick succession that this entails,” Nevin told Chelsea FC’s website.
“Maurizio will have to make many more changes now, starting with the two games against Liverpool coming up.
“It will be among the most interesting selections this season when the 11 for the Carabao Cup game is announced, and indeed it will be interesting how they fare.
“I thought there would be more changes in Greece but maybe this is when almost everyone else in the squad gets a chance.”
Chelsea FC won the FA Cup in their final season under Conte after a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Wembley last term.
The Blues have already beaten Arsenal at Stamford Bridge this term following a 3-2 win back in August.
