Stephen Warnock raves about ‘immense’ Liverpool FC star
The former Liverpool FC defender was impressed with Andy Robertson against PSG

Stephen Warnock has praised Andy Robertson for his “immense” performance in Liverpool FC’s Champions League opener.
The Liverpool FC star retained his spot at left-back in Jurgen Klopp’s team for the visit of Paris Saint-Germain.
Robertson was pitted against World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe in the Champions League opener at Anfield.
The Scotland captain didn’t put a foot wrong as the Liverpool FC defender kept the French star under wraps.
Robertson provided the assist to allow Daniel Sturridge to break the deadlock in the first half.
The former Hull City full-back has now made three assists in six games in all competitions in the current campaign.
Ex-Liverpool FC defender Warnock was full of praise for Robertson after his influential performance at left-back.
“He was immense,” Warnock told BBC Radio 5 Live. “He was playing against Mbappe.
“The hottest prospect in football. He played him so well. He is everything Liverpool fans love.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot in the Premier League table last term thanks in part to the performances of Alberto Moreno.
Robertson managed to usurp Alberto Moreno as Liverpool FC’s number one for the second half of the Premier League season.
