The Italian head coach took over the reins from Antonio Conte in the summer after the Blues finished in fifth spot in the Premier League table last season.
Sarri has already had a big impact at the west London side after Chelsea FC won five of their opening six Premier League games to challenge Liverpool FC and Manchester City.
Indeed, Chelsea FC started last weekend at the top of the Premier League table before a 0-0 draw with West Ham United at the London Stadium last weekend.
The Blues were 2-1 winners against Liverpool FC in the Carabao Cup third round at Anfield after Eden Hazard netted an 85th minute winner in the League Cup tie.
Chelsea FC have also been discussed as potential title winners in Sarri’s first season in charge despite the Italian’s lack of silverware in is managerial career so far.
Speaking at his pre-match media conference about Liverpool FC’s title credentials, Sarri backed the Merseyside outfit to win the Premier League crown.
“They’re a top-level team,” Sarri told his pre-match media conference.
“They have worked with the same coach for four seasons; they are ready now to win the Premier League.
“Saturday it’s another match in another competition with a different starting XI.
“I think maybe Liverpool can increase the determination after Wednesday, it was a difficult match on Wednesday, and it’ll be a difficult match tomorrow.”
Asked if he was surprised that Liverpool FC had not won the top-flight title in the Premier League era, Sarri added: “Yes. It’s very strange.
“But the important thing is now they are ready [to win it].”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot in the Premier League table last term ahead of Chelsea FC to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.
