And former Leicester star Savage believes the Reds are genuine Premier League title contenders this season.
“This could be Liverpool FC’s year,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live. “If they had left Wembley with 7-1, they would have said it was fair.”

The Merseyside outfit won their first five games at the start of the season for the first time since 1990, before claiming a 3-0 win over Southampton at the weekend.
