Klopp’s side suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss to Chelsea FC in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday night as the Blues made it through to round four.
Goals from Emerson and Eden Hazard overturned the Reds’ lead after Daniel Sturridge had put the Merseyside outfit ahead with a strike in the second half.
Liverpool FC will now turn their attentions back towards Premier League affairs and preparing for their trip to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
The Reds have won all six of their opening six Premier League games so far this season and they will be looking to preserve that record and keep their place at the top of the table.
However, Klopp has suggested that he will make a number of changes to his side, with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino starting on the bench on Wednesday night.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Wednesday, Klopp said: “We could have played calmer football but it’s normal when you make changes.
“It was intense, a bit unlucky. Will I change anything for the weekend because of tonight? [Long pause] Yes. Ha ha ha ha ha…”
Chelsea FC are currently two points behind Liverpool FC in the Premier League table and know that a win would move them one point clear of Klopp’s men.
