Jurgen Klopp has warned his Liverpool FC side that they are set to face a stern test of their Premier League title credentials when they take on Tottenham Hotspur after the international break.

The Reds have enjoyed a solid start to the new Premier League season as they look to try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders for the title this term.

Klopp is aiming to try and win his first trophy since being appointed as the club’s new manager at the Merseyside club back in October 2015.

The Reds finished in fourth place last season and they will be aiming to try and challenge Manchester City’s dominance this time around.

Liverpool FC will travel to Tottenham Hotspur in their next Premier League game after the international break as they look to try and gain a positive result against one of their title rivals this season.

And Klopp has admitted that the trip to north London will be one of the Reds’ top challenges of the new season.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports before Liverpool FC’s trip to Leicester City on Saturday, Klopp said: “After the international break, they all come back and two days later you play Tottenham, Tottenham have the same problem so it has no advantage for anybody but there will be big challenges for us ahead and hopefully we are ready for that.”

Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and reached the Champions League final.
