The 23-year-old is currently getting used to life at Anfield after having signed for the Reds from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.
Keita seems to be adapting well to the rigours of the Premier League and he has featured in all four of the Reds’ games in the top flight so far.
Liverpool FC have won all four of their opening four Premier League games to leave them top of the table following a solid start.
Keita is not known for his goal-scoring exploits, but the Guinea international has insisted that he will try and contribute in that department whenever he can.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Keita said: “First and foremost, I should say that I’m very much a team player and I always think about the team first.
“The Premier League is different to other leagues where I have played and everybody knows it is very tough, but I will do my best to beat my own personal records.
“I’m the kind of person who thinks that if I score eight goals in one season my objective must be to score nine goals in the following season. That’s the kind of mentality I have.”
Liverpool FC are aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season as they look to try and win their first trophy under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and without a trophy after having reached the Champions League final last term.
