Robbie Keane has lavished praise on Roberto Firmino for his “incredible” work-rate off the ball for Liverpool FC.

The Brazilian is widely considered to be one of the Premier League’s top attacking talents and he has formed a deadly understanding with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane up front for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

The 26-year-old netted one of Liverpool FC’s goals in their 2-1 win at Tottenham on Saturday as they continued their 100 per cent start to the new season in the Premier League.

Firmino has started all five of Liverpool FC’s Premier League games so far this season and he has so far notched up two assists and scored two goals in the top flight for Klopp’s men.

And former Liverpool FC striker Keane has been hugely impressed by what he has seen from Firmino in a Liverpool FC shirt so far this term.

Speaking to Sky Sports on Saturday, Keane said: “Firmino’s work-rate off the ball for the team is incredible.”

Liverpool FC will now switch their attentions back towards Premier League affairs and their home clash against Southampton in the top flight on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds finished in fourth place in the table last term and they will be aiming to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season.
